Control panel blank when ignition is off

Hi
There are, I think, 3 separate supplies going to the camper display, both from the vehicle electrics and also from the camping batteries. I wonder if the camper supply is not working and you have the display function from the vehicle side only and this will shut down when the BCU sleeps (when the interior lights go out on their own).

Test to see if display only works when the interior lights (by the rear view mirror) are on?
hi Loz, thanks for that. once I start the engine it comes on. For example I turn the fridge on, but after a short while it turns itself off !! Normally it will stay on for 24 hr’s before going off until I start the engine again. It’s all pretty odd and not consistent, so difficult to work out

I have restarted the engine and it’s come on again.

If I then turned the fridge on the fridge kept shutting itself off. I adjusted the temperature and it stayed on !!!

Can’t make sense of it all !!

My display only operates when the engine is running, the minute you turn off the engine it goes off. When it is on it operates other functions normally (roof, fridge, interior lights, etc) but these go off with the panel. I have charged the batteries with a separate sophisticated Optimate charger and they charge up normally. I previously had voltage compatibility errors on the panel but usually cleared by switching the interior light on and off a few times so may not be connected.

Finally got to the bottom of the fault but it cost me >£600 to find it at my local dealer Specialist Cars, Kirkaldy. Turns out relay J519 under the passenger seat was at fault, once they swapped wires over everything began working! Replaced relay as a precaution all Ok now.

What wires did they swap?

I think the two going to the relay under the seat-doesn't make sense but its worth a try

Dear all, I'm new to the forum, I'm from Torino, Italy, so sorry for my poor English.
My 2009 cali174 HP 5 cylinders has the same problem AlanP described, plus the leisure batteries do not charge when the engine is on (I have to plug to 220). May someone helps me with a picture of the relay J519? Is the one that parallelizes leisure batteries when the engine is on?
Thanks a lot
