X4 tyres both rears had gone down to the canvas on the very inner edge, rest of the tyres had miles to go!! Odd fronts due to puncture on motorway 18mths ago and the original front was pretty close to the wear bars so decided all 4. Not sure why the rear had gone on the inner edges dealer/tyre fitter said it possible due to having 18inch wheels, not sure on that but all 3 original Hancocks have covered 21,000 mls

Just look at your California from the side. You will see that the rear end is lower than the front end. This is caused by the 600 kg load you have as standard over an empty Transporter.
This causes the rear wheels to be at an angle (top inwards, bottom outwards) making the inner side of the tyres wearing faster than the rest of the tyre.
This is negative camber, and can not be adjusted. The only way would be to fit stiffer springs at the back, lifting the backside up about 3 cm.

Yes, that’s correct, lowering springs, did about 160 miles yesterday and very happy with the results. And side bars which augment the look generally I’d say . . .
Got it done at the VW Lancashire Van Centre at Preston - took the opportunity while they were fixing the heater under warranty.

We bought 2 Ezydog Drive harnesses at £70 each because they are crash tested. They are good harnesses but unfortunately didn't suit our 2 beagles. One of the beagles got out of her E D H the first 3 times she wore it, on one occasion she got herself badly tangled up & became very distressed. The fit wasn't right for the other, small was too small, medium was too big. Hope you have bet luck than we did.

that's a pity that they didn't fit as they appear very well made... we got ours today and it was quite difficult to adjust mainly because of how 'stiff' the adjusting buckles are but we got there and our boy is to the larger end of the Medium so it fits pretty well...still to try it out in the van ... fingers crossed he stays in it !

We used our Comfortz VW T6 Customised Coloured Thermal windscreen cover bought from club shop. Nick very helpful during ordering.

It was super dark inside and no dampness compared to the curtain style one that came with the van.

Just got home from the Bushcraft show. Didn’t buy anything for the van but did for when we’re out and about in it:

• Pocket telescopic bellows (for fire making)

It was a great show/festival. Really chilled weekend with loads of interesting things to do and see.

Not taken delivery yet but just bought Sparesafe, Dubflecta wind deflectors, couple of sets of mats & bumper protector, Inverter, hookup cable, mains converter, pitch marker, and still quite a list of things we want to get!

It's in a long bag which I can fold the top over and fit in the draw under the bench. It doesn't fold back quite as small as it arrives but not that much bigger.

It's also a soft package and can be squished away.

I can take a picture when back from work.

Thanks Melanie, it would help! Thinking whether it may fit in the calidrawer I just got as there is a gap of a few centimeters. Still undecided whether to take this thermal windscreen or non thermal one...

The best way to store the external thermal windscreen is to fold it as flat possible and sqeez it inbetween one of the campingchairs in the rear ....
Think almost everyone does this .
