Stuck

What a tool

That’s not going to end well

Have they closed the road? Assume the great white is impassable.

That's where the 1.125.000 € Motorhome with Porsche garage is worth every penny.. :D
no need to tow, so very agile on those tight airpin:D:D

where is this, please?
Looks like the road from Applecross in the West Highlands (aka Balaech na baa - or something like that). Bloody great red signs at the start of it state 'not suitable for long vehicles/caravans'...

Wouldve loved to have watched that little scenario play out ;)
Indeed, maybe there need to be a tro banning campervans longer than x metres.
might act as a deterrent or a length dependant set of barriers so they get stuck before then !

Maybe there just needs to be better signage.

Yes we did the same journey through this pass in 2019. And whilst there are loads of signs saying no motorhomes, we did see a number who persisted and caused great aggravation for everyone behind (and in front). I hope they had several changes of underwear available, as some of those bends are hairy.

I've only recently joined the forum, so I'm taken aback to discover so many contributors are such prescient, if not infallible beings. Clearly, the concept "there, but for the grace of god" is redundant in these circles, and sympathy would only be wasted on lesser beings. As someone who was towed out of a ditch by a French farmer in his tractor (many years ago, when a borrowed Holdsworth Villa got into difficulties) perhaps I should get my coat now? For my own part, however ill advised those in the pictured 'van were, I hope they got away with it!

It’s a brilliant, helpful forum. I’ve just got used to ignoring some comments - not worth worrying about.
