I have a CFX28 from Dometic and its worked great for 2 seasons, recently is has decided to freeze everything. I set it to 5 degrees C and it will just freeze. Have turned on and off many times, tried resets, tried on mains and 12v, still the same.

Has anyone had this before and know of a fix, or point me in the direction of someone to service it maybe?

My guess would be that the thermostat isn't turning off the compressor. Does it seem to run all the time? No idea how to fix but these people are near to you and gave me good advice when I was looking to get a coolbox many years ago:

Does it have the available app to set the temp?

Yes it seems to run all the time, no matter what temp I set it to or how much/little is in the fridge. Thanks, will looks these guys up.

This may help Explain what may need to be done to get the temp control working again

I have a Dometic CFX35 fridge that has been running for 7 years without any issues. It recently started to deep-freeze everything. Spent £7.42 on a replacement thermistor off Ebay and followed the repair procedure on expeditonportal.com. Pretty straightforward job. Fridge works like a treat again. New one costs a shocking £700! It was £320 brand-new 7 years ago. Fridges as the new gold standard?

I have spare thermistor already and have to repair mine too. Had frozen beer and Red Bull which exploded.

Is this still a problem with the newer CFX3 series?

I attempted to fix my CF26 yesterday and it went a bit crazy with new thermistor. Temperature and settings were constantly changing. Went back to old thermistor and it's the same. I guess, I have to put it properly back and see if this fixes the issue.
Are all these thermistors the same? I looked at Ebay and all of them seem to specify all possible models and look the same. None of them are OEM parts.
