I have been looking at what appears to be one of the best matresses, the Summit to sea, but it is now £250, and I think this is too much. I have seen the Hi gear double dream 5 self inflating for less than £80, and wondered if anyone has tried it, or knows where to buy the summit to sea at a competitive price. Amazon are out of stock, and did show up as the cheapest place to buy.

Shame you just missed one for sale
I think (after persuading me to part with a stack of cash for the ultimate mattress ;)) @CaliforniaTime decided to sell it once they'd tried the Outdoor Revolution mattress which is less than half the price
How does the outdoor revolution mattress compare to the sea to summit in your opinion. Is it as good a fit in a California and as comfortabl, and does it fold down as small? A lot of questions I know, but I want to get a new
Mattress in the next week.

I haven't tried the OR mattress - I have a Zonesleep one (bulky but in my view the most comfortable) for downstairs. And a Sea to Summit (more able to be tailored to your preference (soft/hard) which is more compact and can be left upstairs de-inflated.
After watching California Time's video though, if I was starting again I'd look to benefit from their experience and try a OR, and if I loved it I'd buy another for upstairs (if you use both beds at the same time sometimes).

I think the OR is narrower and doesn't fit quite as well as the S2S in the pop top.

Well off the back of the California time YouTube, I have ordered the OR mattress for £109. Great informative video, especially as it compared it to the sea to summit that I was looking at. Thanks for your replies.
