What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Finally got round to buying the spacemate now the V2 is bigger and low enough to fit the 335 back right. I much prefer the look and build of this one and the V2 fixes made it a "BIN" for me. Getting tired of decanting the boot every trip to get to the 335.

The latest video on this was quite uninformative TBH but speaking to the maker, Simon, I was happy it finally fixed the V1 challenges that stopped me buying.

Just need to pickup as the postage is quite expensive, maybe on way to the Camping show Sat.

Will drop some images and a fitting thread when done.

Mini colour changing Lemelia light - only 6cm tall but really good illumination - adds ambience without the faff of hanging up or plugging in - love it!

A recent present from my son a fellow California owner, after he had extensively researched alternatives and bought first for his use, these Yeti 16oz mugs look expensive, large and handle free: but in practice have proven a perfect rattle free fit in the T6.1 dash (can’t say for other T versions), excellent long lasting insulation, easy to clean/dish-wash and really nice to drink - lengthily - from on the road whether a hot or cold

Sold my Ecoflow River Pro back in the Spring when my original Coast order was f'ed up by VW. Now I have my van I picked up the latest tech EcoFlow DELTA 2 with LiFePO4 batteries. This will pair with a 100W Xtar folding solar panel for extended off-grid living. Also doubles as a portable way to keep my leisure batteries fully charged when the Cali is stored in the garage. Also picked up the raised fridge plate, buttons for the electronic hob ignitor (very nice quality and low profile), 3M Scotchgard to give the seats a little more protection, Thule Sunblocker G2.

Next trip will be to Ikea to pickup some containers for the cabinets, fitted sheets for the mattresses, pillows and some storage containers to organise the fridge.
@Corradobrit How do you charge the van's leisure battery with that?
Using the electric hookup on the side of the van??
Does it really manage to charge the van when it's around 12.4V for example?

Just bought a new set of wheels (calibre tourers 18 inch gunmetal) + Michelin Crossclimates and chrome trapezoid sidebars. Will be fitted next week and I’m far more excited than I should be!

Have you attached the sensor to the bottom of the basket ?
I think I need to move my sensor lower towards the bottom of basket myself.
The backwall is where the heat exchanger is located.

You’re correct, as that’s where it sometimes gets icy and keeps my ice cream frozen :thumb

We went for 2x 64L Really Useful Boxes (slide in/out easily with or without lid on and Porta Potti fits inside although you cannot close the lit) instead of the drawer. Will try this setup first and see if we need the drawer after all.

For us I think this is a better solution, just a bit of a pain when camping in the wet muddier grass.

It’s a shame that RUB 64L is too long to fit in the space mate, that’d be perfect then I think.

Finally got arpund to adding full limo tint on the rear windows. Pleased with the look and the added privacy, just wish I hadn't wasted 300 quid on the VW tinted glass.

Fantastic! Can I ask where you had it done? Thanks
