After a muddy, but great weekend away in the New Forest, I’ve bought a set of All-weather mats for the front footwells.

As lovey as grey mats, which match the carpet are, they are not so practical in the winter.

I see you've gone for the 2 piece set, I've found the extra bit that covers the carpet between the footwells to be well worth having, but I do drive my van wearing site boots quite a lot so anything that keeps the mud under control is good.

I did consider the 3 piece set but only needed the actual mats.

I find the heel of my right foot wears a hole in most material mats within a few months! These rubber mats are much harder wearing, will look smarter for longer and also are easier to clean if I do bring mud into the cab.

I no longer work, so my boots/trainers get a lot less muddy these days. If I was still working and using my van for work, I’d probably have gone for the 3 piece set too.

Annoyingly, they don't sell it as an individual part. You have to buy the three piece set to get it. I did that when I bought our van and then sold the two spare individual ones.

I am considering buying a Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner WV200UK for the Cali for longer trips when a tiny handbrush just doesn't cut it. Has anyone tried this or other small vacuums and is it any good? Everything really has to earn it's place

Yes we bought one about 3 years ago. A van we rented before we had our own had one. It works well, and handy for sandy sites/ beach trips.
But - we hardly ever pack it now, and rely on a small brush. Other stuff has demoted the Shark. We still use it at home though, so nothing wrong with the vac.

No problem, but I don't get it until June...global transport issues..... It looked straightforward enough. They only do them right handed so with the Cali the rear of the van would be the same end as the awning front. Not an issue for us, I prefer to be nose in on a pitch anyway.

Just ordered a couple more of these excellent rechargeable hand warmers (that also double as a battery pack for my kids) as stocking fillers for Christmas I gave one to my mum too as they’re useful for arthritis relief.

They get lovely and toastie! I hope they provide you with relief too. We all love it after a long walk from the van. My daughter plays a lot of outdoor sport too so she’s been ‘borrowing’ it from the van!!!
