Can anyone help, seems to com out of the water tank, the pump works so it cant be that, my guess is its the sensor, the panel says i have almost a full tank and its empty, but I know they are always unreliable, what and where should it be connected to? BTW no shower connection in my van, could it be part of that if fitted?
I have a MY23 Ocean.

ThanksWater tank.jpg

It looks like the connection to the rear shower maybe

I thought maybe that, can someone also without the rear shower confirm (or even with the rear shower?)

Thanks

So I have a T6 (not T6.1) and that is the exactly what a T6 Water Pump Connection looks like, it looks like the wiring has been pulled to the top (and I assume the pump as well). The sender for the level is the white screw lid behind that wire coming out. There appears to be some blue foam with tape over it tucked in between the tank and cupboard in your picture. Could it be possible someone has fitted a different pump?? On a T6, the rear shower is just a switch that completes the water pump circuit just like the tap switch, but there is only one pump and one pump connection (again this is on a T6)

vbk1975, thanks so much, i could of sworn i tested the pump and heard it, but when i tried it it wasnt working, I connected it as you suggested and filled the tank and hey presto, it works. I was just wondering whether there was a fault or something and the previous owner disconnected it. Assume there isn't a common fault i should be looking for?

The pumps can stop working; scale build up or I have seen traces of brown work up the pump cable outer. I think the T6.1 controls the pump from the central campervan control ECU. On the T6 it is wired to a micro switch on the tap that tends to fail over time as the pump current is probably too much for it over time. But I think T6.1 gets around it by switching the pump indirectly. It would seem odd that the pump is disconnected and there is nothing you would disconnect it for unless someone was testing the circuit??

I still think the cable looks like too much is sticking out, if the pump doesn’t pump water when the tank is low, you might find the pump is hanging half way up the tank from the cable rather than at the bottom.

Good luck !!

When I have eaten 3 Weetabix i might try and get the top off the tank and take a look or maybe try and push some more of the cable in so i know its at the bottom. Sounds like a tomorrow problem! Thanks again, gotta love this group for problem solving!
