Failed Discover Media PQ-E Navigation

My 2017 T6 Ocean started suffering from screen-freeze and 'touch-sensitive holes' on the screen; apparently a common problem with this generation. After a recommendation on the club forum, I took it to SatNav Systems in Surbiton (https://www.satnavsystems.com). The problem (failing Digitiser) was diagnosed & replaced within 90 minutes of arrival. Hamid also updated the SatNav map & software, confirmed the warranty & everything was explained very clearly. It's a very professional operation, highly recommended & much cheaper than a replacement system from a main VW dealer (who incidentally also use SatNav Systems).

Same issue on my 2016 Ocean.
Contacted Hamid at SatNav Systems and went today. Very knowledgable guy, diagnosed and repaired in two hours. Saved a fortune, 12 mths guarantee and a VW T-towel!

mines just failed, any guide on price to repair. i might just bite the bullet and replace the screen myself but if the repair price is fair i might go that route.

Mine too. Lots of folks seem to have ordered a replacement touch screen via eBay or some Amazon and fitted it themselves. I’ve read lots of successes and no failures / disasters, so far.
£15 vs £150-£200+
