Hi I was wondering if anybody has experienced a clunking noise coming from behind the cooker unit/ underneath sliding window whilst driving. It sounds like something has came loose as its gradually got worse over the last month. Initially I thought it was the usual movement of items stored in the cupboard but I’ve ruled all that out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

My idea would be to look higher up than that. Check the pivots on the roof scissors. There should be something to stop metal on metal contact. Older Cali had split plastic tube, not sure if later versions had something specific. You could compare one side with the other to check.

I am sure you have checked this, but is the kitchen table stowed away correctly? If is not latched in correctly it bangs between the kitchen unit and the bench.

Definitely the first port of call whenever there’s a noise from that area.

Thanks very much for that but yes I’ve actually sat in the back whilst the wife is driving holding the table and all moveable parts. It sounds as if it’s coming from behind the cooker underneath the window, strange but really annoying…

Is the first aid kit fully secured? Water tap not touching the glass top?

Not sure otherwise

Check behind the 2 round pop off covers. There are electrical connectors there possibly come loose from their cable ties. One in each sliding door bottom on right and side on left to see fridge motor. There are lots of wires and pipes around the back of the sink and hob worth checking.

I did check the first aid kit and made it even tighter, also tap not touching against glass lid. I’m convinced it’s coming from behind this panel. Anybody any ideas what’s behind this, thanks again

Could be the mounting screws or something shifting behind the cooker
