What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Are the Jackery’s LIFePO4 now? They used to Lithium ion which although very energy dense put me off because of the fire risk.
I agree that was my reasoning in buying the AC 200 Max Bluetti, however the new v2 is The Smallest and Lightest³ 1 kWh LFP Power Station: 18% smaller than the old version Explorer 1000 Certified

I have also recently bought a Jackery, had been considering an Eco Flow Delta for a while, went with the 2000 V2 as wanted a bit more capacity, and Jackery offered it in a smaller sized power station, perhaps should have gone with 1000, as 2000 is too big to fit between the front seats, although did get a good deal with a discount, free case and a free 12v charging lead. Next job will be to add some solar on the van.

Hi @colintfcolintf did you order this online first and then collect from the warehouse as I see on their website that you need a German address?
yes we did order online and also contacted them directly, we used a family members address, but i guess you could use a hotel / campsite address. They were really helpful :)

Does that include the under seat sub? Did you have to lose the inverter?
How much did it cost?

Yes it does include the under driver seat sub, inverter is still there, just had to lose the after market safe, Give them a call, really nice people to deal with and not that far from Nuneaton or Hinckley train station to collect/drop off the van, they will pick you up

Just bought and fitted a wireless apple car play dongle for my Cali. Fitted and working in seconds. I’ll report any issues I have with it when I use the Cali from next week when she’s out of hibernation

Interested in how you got on with this. Good if you could post a picture of it in situ and if you can remember its name and where you bought it. And how does it actually attach to your phone?

Really pleased with this USB rechargeable DAB / FM Radio thanks to other recommendations on here
I’ve been looking for a decent small radio. I’ve been using the wonderboom https://amzn.eu/d/8QWn2XW , streaming radio etc to it, but of course we’re not always connected to the internet. For its size the wonderboom has excellent sound.

Firstly, how do you feel about the sound of the groov-e?

Secondly, does anyone know why the manufacturers of these products give them all such equally ridiculous names? :D

Purchased a new driveaway awning Vango Faros III - have had a Cruz since 2017 but decided it was too big sometimes. Use Safari room if needed and only away for a night and not taking van off site.
