What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Ive been busy… bought a Fogstar 230ah battery and fitted under the drivers seat. The cables/connectors all wrapped up fit neatly along one side of the battery and a Victron 15a mains charger fits on the other side. It can be charged while on hookup, but it’s also permanently connected to the Delta 2 if it needs a top-up. No DC-DC charger is installed yet…

I used 3 ratchet straps to keep the battery in place as per @Shadrack ’s idea, but may design some brackets at some point. The ground stud was left in place but shortened to allow room for the battery height. It’s going to be used primarily to run my Indel B fridge and should easily last 2 weeks between charges.

and for taking the photos! Much appreciated
We also have 2 of these chairs which we love, we both think they are so much more comfortable than the VW ones which now currently reside in our loft. This means the 2 Helinox chairs fit in the right hand slot where one VW chair resided, the left hand slot then provides storage for our thermal windscreen cover. Win win (unless you need 4 chairs of course). They are also incredibly light and really easy to assemble although realistically the VW ones are quicker to put up.

Full 5 year paint correction and ceramic coating, wasn't cheap (albeit mates rates) but giving she lives outside and gets used as a daily too, figured it will make her easier to keep clean! :cool:View attachment 134763View attachment 134762
good call - which ceramic did you get ?

We had gtechniq coating on Dizzy, looks awesome. Have it on my 911 as well and that still looks great 4 years on.

Carbon Collective Pro Coating Molecule, I have Labcosmetica on my Lotus which is epic, we’ll see if this one is as good

I think so. I don’t know anything about 3D printing but I’m pretty sure he got the design off a site called Printables.
It’s a good edition to carry, enabling a top up from containers.
Thanks for heads up.
I found the following link to the printable free download files.

Nice bags, where are they from? Do they come with the Brompton tax, need one for my G line.

Burley Bike Trailer. Here it is in use with a child sent off to fetch 50kg of water from the campsite tap, and to learn about braking early down a hill when towing a weight heavier than them.
