To fit the Porta Potti into the cupboard below the sink we need to move the shelf onto the highest setting. The holes for the 4 pegs are already drilled into the cupboard sides. But there is a black electrical connector for the led lights in just the wrong place. It stops the shelf resting on the back peg by about 2mm. It's the black sticky(I think) bracket that is just in the way. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think I should cut a nick out of the self (using a hacksaw?) or try and prize the black sticky bracket off the cupboard side? Hope the picture help. Thanks.IMG_20250421_181819.jpg

I’d prise the sticky off and refit it higher with some new 3M tape.

I’d then put the Thetford in the boot rather than lose valuable cupboard space ;)

Definitely Porta potti in the Boot, away from food storage, cutlery, pots, and pans. Keeps the weight between the axles and the lighter porta potti in the back (assuming it's empty )

I had the same issue. I adjusted the the light just enough to get the shelf in higher, without cutting the shelf.

Contrary to others above, the position below the sink is easily the best place for us, though I can understand why others like it in the back. There is a mod to the rear seat slide (removing the stop) that then allows the slim and agile to slip around the seat into the back without ‘disembarking’. A search should find that.

The raised shelf retains a perfect space for toilet related bits:
