Hello,
I have T6.1 ocean, I can see the 300W inverter is under Driver seat (I'm LHD model), I want to upgrade it to 1200W victron inverter (I have 628AH lithium batt), so I need to run a 4/6 awg wire from passenger seat leisure batt terminal to driver seat where the new 1200W inverter will be installed. It should be pulling 600W roughly from each battery.

I see there is hole under both seat where the cable are coming out from the floor, how can I wire the thick cable from one side to the other underneath the floor?

Thanks,
Yuan

The carpet between the 2 front seats has a thick fibrous underlay with a channel from seat to seat for the factory wiring loom. That's why it feels spongy when standing on it.

Thanks for the info, so you mean I should remove the 2 seat base, so that I can lift the carpet a bit loose from the ground, then I need to push the wire from the center wire hole from one to the other?

But I doubt I can do it as the hole is quite tight and I have never done it before to this point, might be too much of friction to push the wire from one to the other chair?

Thanks,
Yuan

Probably easier to push a blunt rod through and attach wire to it to pull wire through. You only need the one +tve wire. There is a chassis earth stud under each seat.

You mean there is a wiring channel directly between the 2 holes under the 2 L/R seats ye?
Hole I mean is where the starter batt+ coming out from the floor and the inverter cable goes into the floor hole.

Can't confirm on the T6.1 but on the T5/6 there is. That's why the carpet is softer between the 2 cabin seats, thicker underlay to protect the wiring loom.

I have posted a picture previously of the floor pan with seats and carpet removed & in particular the section between the two front seat showing the available channels etc.

I will see if I can find and repost

Edit - here you go

See the channel in the floor Running parallel to the dash & available earth post positions either side

Use the front seat stud positions and hand brake cable as a point of reference.

There is a cut out in the carpet under the drivers seat : slide the drivers seat all the way forward, remove the seat base trim (grip at the top of the panel and pull in backwards) the will give you access and you will see the flap of carpet you can simply lift up

Note the yellow cable under both front seats = Air bag - do not switch on the ignition whilst they are disconnected (Air bag will show a fault light on dash ) and make sure the seats can swivel freely without fouling that cable (when you fit the new gear)
