T7 owners - Is everything easy to use?

Exactly.

In 2019 I bought a Tesla model 3 online before the show models were available to see in person in the UK. I wanted a smaller electric car with a long range, that was the only option at the time.

The car was right from day one, the more I drove it, the more I liked it. I still have the car today and love it. Unfortunately, I am going to have to sell it to make way for the Beach.

The T6.1 right hand drive is an anomaly. To my knowledge it's the only transporter / california that doesn't have a footrest. I've never driven a car without a footrest and don't know of any. It's bizarre.

It was a stop gap for the UK market , converted to RHD at minimum cost as they already knew the Ford/ Transporter would replace the T6.1 Transporter and the Multivan was replacing the Shuttle and Caravelle and the new California would be based on the Multivan.

If you ever did Back Pack camping or camping using a car then the T7.has more than enough storage . No tent, no mattress, no gas cooker, no water container to carry on your back . You adjust accordingly.
And if you use it all year round and as a daily driver then the driving experience becomes more important, not is there room for a collapsible fire pit or a chandelier for the drive away awning .

We regularly travel as a family of 4 for 2-3 weeks through Europe in our beach. Having seen the new beach, this would not be possible without making ‘adjustments’ that would be unacceptable to us.

I could adjust accordingly to do these trips in our Volkswagen Up. But it would be Poo poo. Hope you can understand this point, remembering that all of us have different uses on views on what is an acceptable trade-off/compromise/adjustment.

I'm sure the mini kitchen in the back can be removed. If you don't want to take out the whole thing, it looks like it's just a normal cabinet where the drawers can be removed by anyone, you can then use that space inside to store things.

I agree that it's not ideal but there is an easy work around.

On this basis, I don’t think it is an easy workaround. Even after removing the drawers you’d be left with the frame which would severely limit what and how you take stuff.

For me the beach was always about a large space with flexibility. It’s sad that this is no longer available.

Disagree, for the beach the storage is significantly impaired and in my opinion no longer an option to be used by a family as a camper van.

Correct and we don’t have a fire pit, chandelier or awning.

I guess they had to put the mini kitchen in somewhere for it to be classed as a camper. It's difficult to do with the double sliding doors.

I still think it's a minor issue. I could easily pay a camper conversion company to remove that kitchen in the back. It wouldn't effect the value of the vehicle (it may even make it more desirable) and I don't think it would effect the insurance.

Anyway, if I get a T7 and the kitchen is a problem, I will let you know what I've done with it.
