I got an early Christmas present by getting a Spacemate tray. This has to be the best purchase I have made to get kit easily out the boot. Previously everything went on the ground and got wet when you need something from the back.

Really easy to fit with just two screw bolts from the seat rails. Simon who runs the company was really good and provided excellent communication.

They currently have a black Friday offer on which gives a free liner, free latch and additionally free shipping until the 1st Dec with "Black Friday 25'.

Yours looks great in black. Mine for my 6.1 was a game changer too. Quality product and quality service from Simon.

Thanks for the info and pictures im glad you like it. I really like the idea and its seem practical, but soooo expensive that I can't quite justify it.
Good looking piece of kit though

The cost is why it is a Christmas present. My wife and I find that it has made life so much easier for us when we have been away this winter. Need to save up for a solar panel from solarcamper solutions now but that can wait until it is a bit sunnier.

There's no mention of any black friday deals or items included ill keep looking just incase.

Would you say in any way its made the load area slightly smaller?

This question has come up a lot asking those of us with them from those without. The unit itself is very snug in the cavity with the only real invasiveness being the slider and the folded metal sides. It’s minimal and for us as it has made the whole space (in our 6.1) more usable from top to bottom, it’s practically increased the usable space, if not technically. Those that say “it’s expensive” in an 80K van are missing quite a few points. I’ve just noticed there is a luggage bag from the Space team now too that is 1/2 the cost of the North Face version we use, which is a worthy addition.

The code works on the site. Worth contacting Simon at Spacemate to confirm.

I would say I can fit as much stuff as before as the tray is a really snug fit. It allows me to get everything really easily.

First thing I thought is that you should use the porta potty in situ!
Unfortunately I am more than the 100kg weight limit. I also suspect others on site may object to me sitting chatting to them whilst carrying out my ablutions.

The easy access outweighs the loss of about 40mm to accommodate the slide mechanism. Of course there is no loss above the tray.
It is worth noting you will either need to slide the whole thing forward or out to get access to the gas cupboard or the toolkit.
I’m really pleased with mine and fitted the week I picked the van up, I couldn’t live without it.

It also really easy to move with just two bolts and wing nuts to loosen off. Easy access for the once every six months I will need to get to the gas locker.
