A massive ‘Thank You' to the Club Shop for my new seat covers, I’m over the moon with them, they look fantastic. So good they could be factory fit. I also love the fact that they are like the Golf Gti seats of old, a bit of retro in a modern vehicle ;)

My van is Acapulco blue, so the blue stitching detail works really well.

Straightforward to fit, but set aside at least a morning and watch the fitting guide videos first! If you get out of bed in a bad mood then leave them for another day....

They are a bit challenging to fit, but thats a reflection on the quality, because they are so millimetre perfect. If they simply just slipped on they they wouldn’t look as good. I fitted them on my own, took my time and I guess it took about 4hrs, in between several strong coffees!

Thank you to Martin in the shop too, who I called twice just to check on a couple of points, your advice was invaluable.

Are the back seat covers available ? - 3 seat / 2seat Beach - thanks

They are a very dark grey. I’ll take some more pics and post them up for you

Yes thought so, just changed my order to Dark Grey :cheers

Wow, very cool. My week old van is looking very second hand already with kids shoes and a few muddy outings...

I need some dark covers for my moonrock seats !

I’m with you there! Whoever it was at VW who thought that pale grey seats would be the best choice in a camper van needs a little word in his/her ear...o_O !!

These really do look nice, it is great we now have more choice of seat covers, I like many I have the extremely boring grey Inka covers which just make the interior a depressing place to be. I am now intending to persuade the missus we need a change.

Looks superb ! Far better than my set from Lidl for £15

Sniffy,
I too have these covers, but I have not been quite as efficient as you getting them fitted. Do you have any advice for removing the panel at the front of the rear bench seat, immediately below the cushion? The video shows this panel just sliding off. I have manage to release some clips but there seems to be something still holding it place. What did you do? I am concerned that applying more force will damage the plastic paneling.

Hi Ken.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean, it is a bit vague in the video as the panel appears to simply pop off.

Like you I attempted to pull the panel off but stopped as I was very worried I’d break it! It's certainly stuck fast and clearly isn’t designed just to pop off! So I called Martin in the shop and he advised to leave it in place and fit the cover around it, which I did. You can pull the retaining cord pretty tight and just tuck the front edge of the seat cover under.

Good luck, I’m sure it will be fine :thumb

The GTI covers look great. I'm using Inca waterproof covers which are ideal for this time of year in Wales (or should I say any time of year in Wales!). Presumably the Incas would fit over the top of these GTI covers when required?

Yes they would fit over not sure if you would benefit from the heated seats with two sets of covers on
