Service indicator wrong, shows overdue mileage??

VW app mileage not correct and overdue.
The app/dash told me to book a service which I did mid January.
Now when I check app it states overdue and the mileage has jumped to 5800 overdue. Will this have an affect on warranty validity, I've only done 7400 miles.

Obviously a software glitch. Go by the Vehicle notification rather than the app.
