Brandrup Water Fill-Up Set INCLUDING 10 Litre Water Container
To facilitate the filling of the water tank of the VW California & Mercedes Marco Polo on trips, we recommend the approved fill-in set for the VW T6/T5 and VW T4 California (T4 from model year 1999 with TOP-RAIL on the left side).
The water fill-in set enables an easy filling of the water tank by using the 10-litre foldable water tank (included)
The fill-in set consists of 4 parts:
- a holding device for TOP-RAIL (can also be used as a fastener for a clothesline);
- a holding device for the foldable water tank or solar shower;
- a turning cog with an oversized opening (approx. 20 mm) fill-in hose
- 10 Litre water tank/container.
The tank holding device is fixed to the bottom handle of the tank with a durable clip fastener and hung into the TOP-RAIL holding device with a carabiner.
The upper cord edge of the holding device is introduced into the piping rail of vehicles with TOP-RAIL.
The holding device can be introduced directly into the aluminium rail of the VW T6/T5 California & Mercedes Marco Polo

Firstly let me say that this is a reasonable quality product and it will no doubt be a very useful addition to my equipment since it is very compact and easy to use. However i can only really give it a 2 star rating because no way on earth should this retail for nearly £50.00. I would happily pay half that price maybe but it is just far too expensive for what you get. Silly price.

It works just fine but as previous review the price is just bonkers. Should be £10max hence poor rating.

I have used this a few times now. Yes it is expensive but it is much easier than the previous funnel and carrier arrangement I used. It seems sturdy and well made. Note the water carrier is different to the picture, it is a more triangular shape. The only tricky bit is getting the full carrier hooked on using the dog type clip as you hold it up in the air, a carabiner would be easier.

It works well, but as the previous reviewers have said it is a stupid price for a few bits of plastic. However if there is nothing comparable then they can charge what they like – and we do have a choice as to whether we buy it.

Imagine the scene – you get to the camp site and check in. They show you to your pitch and you drive on excitedly wondering how level it will be. Before you know it you’re up on your levelling blocks, roof up and cold drink in hand. But – you’ve forgotten to fill up with water again. How do we do that every time? I’ve probably acted out this scene more times than I’ve remembered to fill up – and it is rather annoying. Or it was – but not anymore since I bought this fill up set. Yes it is expensive – but most California and certainly Brandrup things are. But they are designed well and work well. This makes filling up and topping up (during a longer stay) very easy. Certainly easier than having to put the roof back down and drive to the tap.
