New for 2025, the Outwell California Highway Driveaway Air Awning is specifically designed to fit the VW California, alongside other vans of a similar build and height!

Made using a rigid air system, the inflatable tubes efficiently ensure fast and simple inflation, meaning you can set up your extra living area within minutes.

With the main opening being parallel to your van, the California Highway allows for a large open plan space with easy access to your vehicle, in Summer months you can open the front of the awning and allow for great airflow to your van, avoid those pesky insects by zipping the flynet to. An additional side door allows for extra options, allowing you to position your furniture inside the awning in whichever formation you like, as you can still access the awning from other points.

At the heart of the California Highway is the innovative Outwell Nightlight System, offering ambient lighting for easy orientation and improving the awning’s spacious feeling. Already having great standing headroom, the NightLight System adds to the great sense of being outdoors.

Large openings, both at the front of the awning and the side, can be unzipped and rolled back to add even more space and ventilation, with flynets on both to keep those unwanted mosquitoes and flies out.

Its robust structure includes Duratec fibre-glass poles and a double-coated waterproof polyethylene groundsheet, ensuring it stands firm against the elements.

The composition of this awning is completed by Outtex® 4000 Select polyester, a material known for its excellent performance and durability.
