£999 3 yr extended warranty - worth the money ?

I've had no such probs with my new Range rover , in fact I'm surprised by the good build quality, if onLy vw was as good thee days

I think it is the luck-o' the draw. I have had several and would not have another. However mine (2) were basic workhorses so may be different from the top of the range ones.If I was in the market for the Range Rover type of vehicle , my choice would be a Landcruiser I have driven many many miles in landrovers when in the forces. Happy to say I did not have to repair them.
Re: VW cali's One needs to think carefully before purchase, although I do love them. Mine will be moved on just before the guarantee expires, unless one uses the Cali frequently it may make sense to hire, one always has the choice.
