one week to go for delivery from euro vans in Crawley, free delivery (£100 fuel)!!

BTW what are people using for waterproof seat covers?

Having recently taken GC delivery from Crawley be very careful everything is there as it's quite clear they do no internal checks whatsoever. In my case the shower head was missing rendering the bathroom unuseable. They did supply a replacement quickly but failed to provide the rubber washer for the connection to the shower head again meaning we could'nt use the shower or bathroom tap. I ended up having to source a replacement myself. Our separators were missing and 2 months later I'm still waiting for them and just being fobbed off by them. Overall a very unsatisfactory delivery and service.
They may sell the vans cheap but this seems to be reflected in there service level throughout the ordering, waiting and delivery process.

I have been charged £640 delivery charge from manufacturer to Crawley, seems excessive. Is this free delivery to you home address. I intend to collect mine from Crawley. Will check my van over in every detail before I sign on the dotted line. No know it inside out after watching California Chris. o

Did they deliver to Aberdeenshire?

Yes they did Alison, cost was free to the border then I paid from border up to Aberdeen. Cost £200 which given the need for taking time off work, getting down to the border, C19 restrictions etc was a no brainer for me. Delivery was all very seamless.

So do I cancel order, or just get refillable gas bottles. Its a bit of a bummer as I will be using this for skiing 1 month every year.

So if you cancel, you will be further down the list of any other manufacturer if you reorder. They will all have the same issues. And possibly worse as VW may get first dibs of stock.

Best bet if your desperate get a stock van but probably not to your exact spec. And probably no Diesel Truma.

Congratulations on your new purchase. Do check with them if they will be using a low loader or someone will be driving it there. I would not want anyone else to drive my van that far for that long. It should be delivered to you on a low loader.

Waterproof cover options for the T range are plentiful, not so on the Grand California. If you do find some, please let us know. I've been looking on and off for a while.

Phone call from Eurovans in Crawley the van is on a the way however they have checked the van and the dividers are missing. said the replacements would be a week to come in then sent up for

A credit to Dave Maney who was honest to say that they were probably taken by another salesman or not checked in delivery

My wife works for BMW and said “robbing”demos for parts is standard practice across the industry

Two rectangular pieces of material that you place between garage storage area and living area. Stops items moving when driving. Crazy to think items would be missing. When did you place your order? Still no news on my delivery, and also update on diesel heater. Must be sorted now and not a problem for existing orders placed. I ordered mine from Crawley. I bet you cannot wait.

Yeah we thought about the diesel as a option, not sure if we made the right call not going for it?? Time will tell
