12v Socket drinks tray - poor power

I know we have discussed the 12v socket interferring with the DAB radio when a usb adapter is plugged into them.

However I've noticed since I changed my vehicle camera that the drinks tray socket doesn't seem to deliver enough power. My camera flickers and switches on and off in this socket but is absolutely fine in the leisure battery one above.

Anyone experienced this? Any fixes ?
