So I bought myself a little 12v socket voltmeter, cheapo thing, to monitor the engine battery as the solar keeps the leisure battery in check. Plugged it into the socket by the gearstick and it reads 13.7v! I assume calibration issue so I get my voltmeter and confirms that’s the reading. So I tried the 12v socket on the “dash tray” beneath the windscreen. Same story! Deactivated the solar output and the voltage dropped on the 12v sockets. I then checked the engine battery itself and that was 12.4v which is more like I’d expect.
So it would appear, on my MY23 at least, all the 12v sockets are on the leisure circuit. This seems a departure from the usual wisdom that the “van” parts at the front of the cabin are the same as transporters.
