I remember exactly where I was when the news broke, the world changed on that day.

Me too.
I was having an afternoon coffee at work with two Americans - the only expats in the team in Norway - we were mesmerised. They were about to leave the room (watching it on the tv) when I said "wait, the building's moving"... we all know the rest.
My twin pups were born that same date a year later.
I have no idea why, there are many atrocities in the world, but for some reason I cannot ever forget those images from that day.
