Van went in for water pump constantly on and only switching off by pulling the fuse, step with a mind of its own, bathroom shelves, bathroom light again with its own mind and fridge on and off
After two visits to VW they have replaced the control panel but didn’t solve the issues then they updated the software and they think they’ve solved. Will find out tomorrow when they phone…..

Turning the main controller off and on after a couple of mins normally sorts those probs out.

Got to say parked up in a french aire that everything is working…….

Hi what MY month build please

Our 680 - new in Jan 21 - only has a slight problem with the bathroom light in that it switches on and off a few times when you leave the bathroom but stops after a few random cycles. Otherwise everything working great

Our bathroom light only malfunctions when the heating is on say over 23%, then comes on then go off so no great shakes.

Ok, did you order it from your dealer if so when.

One week later and the pump started running continuously, pulled the fuse for a few hours and put it in again. Been working fine for the last day or so

software update didn’t fix the pump issue

Step has decided to stop working after 2 weeks, so to date the software update really hasn’t fixed the water pump or the step issue but the fridge, bathroom light and bathroom shelves do seem to have worked to date!!

We took our GC680 on service this Monday for several faults and for step replacement. Service had changed the step and received a new software package from vw, but it came so late that they did not have time to install it. Next free slot on service was on Wednesday so we left our car there.

Tomorrow we should get it back. Hoping that the new software will fix some issues. They told that the software package is massive and will take 3 hours to install.

Got our GC680 back from service. Step was replaced and atleast it works now, but for how long? =)

Software got updated and there are mentions about software update, software configuration and parametring in the workorder, but no idea what those actually mean. Gotta see and test it out if the old faults start reapearring and report back to service. Atleast the service person was hopeful that the SW upgrade will fix the problems.

Got the 20,000km oil service for free, because of all this running to service and back.

That’s a nice gesture on the oil service, hope it works out for you
