Has yours had the latest software update which means that the vehicle regens every 2 hours of use and I think the max range you get with a full Adblue tank is about 4,000 miles. I think it used to be 6,000 with a full tank before the last update. My Cali 150 DSG has the same mileage as yours, I’ve got a range of 3500 miles left and it’s never had a top up since new! Interesting how much they differ.
No it hasn’t had the update as there were mixed reviews about it all so I opted out of having it updated at the time of service!Has yours had the latest software update which means that the vehicle regens every 2 hours of use and I think the max range you get with a full Adblue tank is about 4,000 miles. I had a piece of paper with 9 boxes on it, one for each free refill. There's a thread on here about it and the conclusion, I think, was that as the AdBlue is pretty cheap best to have it rather than refuse it. There might be something else in the update as well that might be useful. No it hasn’t had the update as there were mixed reviews about it all so I opted out of having it updated at the time of service!
That would be why mine hasn’t used much, it’s a big difference I must say, how much Ad blue to the give you on the update?

Edit: sorry it was 8 free refills not 9 as I wrote above.
I had my Cali delivered on 1st September and its done 4k and is showing 4k left on the adblue screen, now I have done a lot of motorway mileage so understand adblue usage will be more frugal but I have never noticed any regen either. My van was a stock item so not sure if it had been sat around for a while although it is a 2019 spec with the opening front roof canvas and wondered if it has missed the upgrade. On a similar point every time Audi get hold of my wife's car which is also diesel but without adblue they want to carry out a software update which I have always refused due to reviews on forums. No it hasn’t had the update as there were mixed reviews about it all so I opted out of having it updated at the time of service!

We live in London, but since July 2019 we have had a Skoda Citigo which is used locally. The Cali is used mostly for longer journeys.I had my Cali delivered on 1st September and its done 4k and is showing 4k left on the adblue screen, now I have done a lot of motorway mileage so understand adblue usage will be more frugal but I have never noticed any regen either. Ours was also new 1st Sept 19, done 4000 miles and showing 1000 miles till refill if it helps! Van came from vw Liverpool.I had my Cali delivered on 1st September and its done 4k and is showing 4k left on the adblue screen, now I have done a lot of motorway mileage so understand adblue usage will be more frugal but I have never noticed any regen either. Yes mine came from Liverpool as well. It will interesting to see what happens when I fill the adblue tank when it gets down to about 750 miles. Did you choose Liverpool on price?Ours was also new 1st Sept 19, done 4000 miles and showing 1000 miles till refill if it helps! Van came from vw Liverpool.
yep, was going to order new but got a great deal on a new in stock Cali!Yes mine came from Liverpool as well. It will interesting to see what happens when I fill the adblue tank when it gets down to about 750 miles. Did you choose Liverpool on price?
We’ve had our van a year now, filled up when we got it and the adblue milage started climbing every time we used the van and now sitting at 6000, and hasn’t moved, done 3.5k miles, now concerned the adblue will go off as at this rate we’ll never use it any time soon And the shelf life is meant to be a year, so can you empty it out and refresh?
You look like you have a problem, did you brim fill it. that can cause a failure in the Adblue level sensor.
When it gave me the first or second warning, I think with about 1000 MLS or so left, got a 10l can and put it in the boot. Returning from the lake District, near about Birmingham, it gave the warning about no start after switch off. Stopped at the next services and topped up. No tension. When it gives you a warning that early, it is easy to be prepared. We had a little amber warning symbol come up on the dash on the way back from the Peak District last weekend. Looked in the manual but it was tricky to decipher the meaning other than it was to do with the AdBlue. Continued driving back and 85 miles from home a warning flashed up that we were under 500 miles AdBlue range and the engine would not restart! I little worrying so we turned of the stop start just in case and persevered. Got home - phew - and topped up with 10L that I had in the garage. Got 5000 mile range. All good but I could have done without the worry on the drive home.
Adblue has a 2 year lifespan, is it two years old?I have not used the California this year; the AdBlue in the tank is now older that its recommended lifespan. Should I be worried enough to take a syphon to the tank and get some fresh in?
A call to Vw assist to remove the ADblue ?Three years.
Top it up with some fresh stuff.Three years.
