Aircon cowl and roof vent stealth conversion

I found the white dometic cowl and the little white mushroom vent over kitchen clashed with dark grey of van. I did read a while ago you could buy a black dometic cowl - but it was over £100. And couldn’t find one when looking.
So got a rattle can of Plasti Dip and took the cowls off and sprayed them black - I like the look much better now

Hi Andrew, thinking of doing the same and found your post. How easy is it to get the cover off? Looking at the parts diagram is it just 3 x screws either side? Anything to be aware of?

Very easy, yes just a few screws to undo. I don’t recall any challenges
