All weather tyres

Just looking at specs and can order All Weather tyres (as opposed to the S low rolling resistance tyres). Given it will be driven a lot in the highlands all year round has anyone specced these from new and know what tyres they are ? Worth it ?

I tended to run M&S tyres all year round when i last lived in Scotland and had no issues.

Other option is get a set of steelies from Benn.

Our Cali Beach was supplied with Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons, I don't know if this is the standard VW all weather tyre, but it seems to get good reviews and came second in an Auto Bild All Season TyreTest.

We've only done 500 miles, so too soon to judge how good they are, but off to Austria for a week soon, so I'll have a better idea after that.
