Anti-Sagging roof solution

Hi,

as usual, my roof on the Cali 2015 is sagging. I have came across this item: https://www.buessli-shop.ch/en/products/spanner-aufstelldach-california-ocean which supposedly stops the roof from sagging. It looks great but the price is very "Swiss".

Did someone find better solution / is someone using this device and has opinion on it?

I would be really concerned about forgetting to remove the device and doing significant damage to the hydraulics. The way the hydraulics works is to drive the rams both on both the open and down cycles, thus if the device if left in place and you try to close the roof, it will be fighting with the hydraulics. It might be there is a bypass valve, but feels easier to reset the roof just before bed.

2 lengths of broom handle cut to length and painted red would do the job for £1.

2 lengths of broom handle cut to length and painted red would do the job for £1.

Ideal, with a couple of red ribbons on both ends of each to minimise the chances of my forgetting they’re there.
Probably one on the steering wheel as well for good measure. It would eventually happen to me otherwise
