Only removed I believe. Now it has to be present and untouched, or proof of replacement as per original specification.It has been an MOT fail for some time (2014 I believe) if the DPF is found to have been gutted or removed, so nothing new here.

6 years, 55000 miles and I’ve never had an issue with it. Yes I’m sure it will need replacing at some point for many hundreds of pounds. But that’s just a general maintenance thing.
Reading between the lines, is it people who are trying to cut ownership/maintenance costs that have them removed...???
