Looking to sell my Bodans T5 Campervan and change to a Westfalia California Exclusive. Looking for a very high quality one so willing to pay top price for the right one.

I agree - probably biased tooInteresting you’re going from 5 to a 4? I get it completely but then I’m biased. I’d love a 5 or 6 , I think the styling is nicer than the 4 but mechanically, I wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole.
The later 4s are every bit as good as a 5 and much more robust *

I've looked at import but now we are out of the EU i'm looking at 20% VAT ontop, plus registration fees etc. Could easily add £5K onto an already inflated market price.it’s only a 102 up but looks nice. I have the 150 big brake model which I can recommend.
Layout mainly. With kids in a Van, the pop top is great until you want to make a drink in the morning...Interesting you’re going from 5 to a 4? I get it completely but then I’m biased. The one on ebay is of interest, although i didn't have a budget as such, I feel it's about £4K overpriced (although current market means my Van will fetch more than it should too). I will kick myself if it sells, but I'm struggling to get to see it in the next 2-3 weeks as my Wife is 39 weeks Pregnant as a Surrogate! There were a couple on eBay last week. Other than that, Mobile.de (German car website) and import one. There are always a few minters on there.
Will be moving away from Side kitchen/Pop top for reason mentioned above, cracking looking van though...much better than some dodgy home conversions being sold for twice the price.VW Westfalia T4 California Event 2002 | eBay

I didn’t realise that was the case now. Still, £5k isn’t the end of the world if you negotiate a good deal. I’m not sure how the German market is now with so many towns rolling out restrictions on older diesel units so you might get a deal?I've looked at import but now we are out of the EU i'm looking at 20% VAT ontop, plus registration fees etc. Could easily add £5K onto an already inflated market price.
Over here not if car >6 years oldIs VAT payable on second hand stuff?

If it was the right van I’d go for it.
