Apple CarPlay and head unit recommendations.

Hi all, I am considering getting sat nav for my 2015 cali and have been advised to go for apple carplay, we travel to France on a regular basis. Also recommendations of what head unit to go for would be apppreciated.

Hi all, I am considering getting sat nav for my 2015 cali and have been advised to go for apple carplay, we travel to France on a regular basis. Also recommendations of what head unit to go for would be apppreciated.

We use TomTom via apple CarPlay - which we find the best for UK & Europe providing well pruned routes without ‘noise’ - though there are enthusiastic advocates of alternatives (google maps, apple, Waze, etc.) on this forum.

Others will hopefully advise on head units.

Shows Waze, google maps, WhatsApp (and read messages to you) etc on head unit.

Will also retain steering wheel controls if you also buy the Kenwood interface lead.
