Are tyres any cheaper in France or elsewhere in Europe than the UK

We're on our way slowly down to Spain and given everything else seems cheaper than rip-off Britain I was wondering if tyres were also cheaper?

The van will be due an MOT in November and should need new tyres then, so if there's any mileage (sorry) in getting them before we get back we might try to do that.

My experience of buying due to ‘need’ in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Germany, is that they will all be more expensive than the U.K. & apart from Germany forget about a tyre place getting stock the next day.

If you use OPENEO they source tyres and prices from all over Europe so you can benefit from whoever has the cheapest.

I think i am correct but in France you have to buy tyres in pairs, as in in rear left is damaged you also have to buy rear right
