Thought I'd just throw this one into the mix. Much better than using GoCompare or Moneysupermarket etc - i.e. enter your details once and it crawls the various motorhome insurance providers.

I've been working to and from the UK over the past 4 years & had no use for a car, discovered NCB is invalid after 2 years, so have zero NCB but have *never* claimed. This sent some insurance co's into a spin. I'm 46, clean licence no claims ever and was quoted £1200 with a 3 grand excess. Some were in excess of £2k and only if I fitted a tracker. WTF??
That was before trying to add my wife to the policy and stating that this was to be our only vehicle. God help us! Some then refused to insure at all, did not recognise the vehicle even existed from its plates, or pointed me at van policies and all manner of rubbishness.
In the end this little aggregator sorted things and I had 3 sub-£500 quotes, all with a normal £250 excess, sole vehicle, multiple drivers etc etc...Happy with that!
