Awning - am I missing a part?

Hi
Just been looking at the awning where the arms connect with the front edge. There is a metal pin at each end and I noticed that these had ridden up with the head touching the awning fabric.

At the bottom of the pins (once used back into place) I noticed a metal groove which looks as though it could have had maybe a metal or rubber ring to stop it moving up.

Does anyone have anything that looks different??

It needs a small metal circlip. My awning came with one on one side but missing on the other! I've been meaning to replace it for 5 years and never remember. PM me your address if you like and I'll post you a few.
