The California (as we all know) has a wind-out awning, for this there are a number of different tie down/storm straps. Is there any difference between the the one that has California written on it, and any of the other general purpose ones? (except the price)

Nope Any one should do as long as it has a place to hook to the top of the pole. If none, you can also do a DIY easily.

Writing California on it. That's about 20 quids on ...
