Battery on a 93 T4 Westfalia when having welding done

Picked up my van at the weekend and arranging for some welding to be done. Can I confirm that I need to disconnect the leisure batteries and starter battery before any welding? Is there anything else I need to think about regarding electrical systems when welding?

Disconnect both +ve and -ve battery terminals on all batteries and weld away.
Once the batteries are disconnected your vans electrics are isolated from the body/chassis.
