Beach Kitchen

I did see the new Slidepod Transit at Campermart, have a little video edit in progress for CVCO. Basically it has a cooker that slides out on the left side, and storage for the other 2/3rd of the width. I liked the idea of it but I dont think I'll change from what i have.

Here's my super flexible Beach kitchen complimented with a flexi-bucket (not pictured) for the washing up!

The folding gas stove packs away tiny, and is super stable. Cost about £30 from Cotswold Outdoors

Primus gas cartridges a little expensive but have found a cheap converter (about £1.50) to use the Butane CampingGaz canisters which are much cheaper.

Small cork mat underneath to protect table from heat

I like the patina’d kettle/pot, it’s got real character! :thumb

Kiedy śpimy na dole (głównie) śpimy na czele, bardziej komfortowo IMHO.

Uwielbiam torby z nadrukiem VanEssa i masz mnóstwo miejsca do przechowywania. [/ QUOTE]
Jakie są wymiary i producent tych pudełek?

When sleeping downstairs (mostly) we sleep heads to front, as much more comfortable IMHO.

Love the VanEssa window bags, and have loads of storage.
What are the dimensions and manufacturer of these boxes?

Dzięki Jonathan!

Hi @Philip McAuley -- which Jetboil stove is this? what gas canisters do you use please? & where did you get it?? thanks!

(quick look on internet seems it's not readily available in UK nor takes the commonly available gas canisters -- looks like a great bit of kit though)

Sure no worries, you’re quite right, we picked it up in the states. Had our eye on it for a while and waited for an opportunity to pick it up. The gas isn’t your usual camping stove connection but go outdoors sell the one required. I’m sure in practice it’s no better or worse than any other camp stove, but its well thought out and beats burning your stew when using an original jetboil! We love it!

Just been on the Jetboil website and this system looks fantastic, but with a fantastic price. Ideal for the beach.
Bit more than the £20 I paid for my campingaz stove (with 2 907 bottles) ;)
Why isn't it available over here!?

That JetBoil looks quite similar to the Coleman ‘Fold n Go’ I have.

Do you mean grill?
I have a campingaz two ring and grill stove, which I used for the first time a volksworld last weekend, it's a bit bulky but cooked myself a nice burger. Obviously you can only do 1 piece of toast at a time but it's nice in the morning.
I'll see how I get on with it over the coming months, if it doesn't work out I'll look at something like the jetboil or flil and go.

Sorry, grill is what I meant. How long do you find a gas canister lasts?

Only done one weekend so far. I managed to get it with 2 907 bottles, 1 full/ 1 half full, they will last a good while. I should expect to last all year with that amount of gas!
