Bed stuck again - where to get fixed or buy a replacement bed?

Hello,

My bed got stuck down a few years ago - had it fixed at an independent VW garage and the second time we used it, it broke again whilst on a campsite on North Uist, Was a right pain with 4 of us! We managed to un-bolt the hinge and get the bed up, but not down again. Then covid happened and we haven't got it fixed.

Can anywhere suggest anywhere that would be reliable to fix it or even replace the whole unit? I just want to know that it isn't going to just snap again whilst we're away somewhere. The back plastic is broken from trying to get the bed back up, the seat is a bit tired and the roller draw is broken from trying to fix the bed so replacing wouldn't be the worse thing in the world.

To be honest, the bed is such a bad design. If it gets stuck down there should be some kind of release system. You can't even get underneath and remove the back panel as some of the fixings are hidden. So stupid!

Any suggestion would be appreciated!
Dave
