Black wheels

When we ordered our van we specified Cascavel wheels in black and silver, but the dealer put the wrong colour on the order and by the time we noticed our van was already, unexpectedly, half built and too late to change! We took it on the chin and were just happy that it was coming early. I personally wanted all black wheels, but we baulked at the extra money for the black wheels when ordering .... soooo, we decided to throw caution to the wind (and all last vestiges of being sensible with our money!) and have them sprayed. They were done last week, and look absolutely splendid! Very glad we did it now.

Where did you get them done? And how much was it? I've been tempted.

I thought so to look black ..... but now have them all, even the Chinese cars ... and then also my blacks have become ... the dust of brake hahaha I wish to have painted them properly .... not 'as simple as it seems to do a good job ....

'The Wheel Specialist' in Nottingham, but it is a national franchise with branches in lots of cities - you can find them on the web. It is £360 for removal of wheels, tyres, powder coating, oven baking, replacing tyres and wheels with new valves and balancing.
