I've seen many people wrap their B Pillar. Is it now done by VW on new builds as standard spec?
That's good to know - saves me mucking it upTry a local vehicle wrapping specialist, had mine done for less than £20 all in.
Yes go for it!I'm toying with the idea myself.
My Cali and an edited photo.
I hope this helps the OP without completely high jacking the thread.
Opinions?

2020 freedom I think we’re both Mojave? This is what ours looks like if it helps (done with the shop vinyls). Really happy with how it turned out!

Did you purchase the larger EDITION vinyl from VW?
It looks cracking!!!!They actually came from here:

We got all the vinyls fitted at the same time by the chap who did our window tinting, so it came back looking like a different van
Thanks!Something different. It’s security film first and foremost. You can have any colour or crystal clear. Tested to withstand a good hammering or scum trying to smash their way into the vehicle.
Do you know I’ve not a clue. Just been studying the work and my thoughts are it’s on the inside. The fingernail scratch test I made felt like glass on the exterior but was not as free flowing on the interior. All the widows were removed and prepped before the application was done though if that helps. Thanks!
Does it go on the outside then?
Hi David, where did you have the work done? Not far from you and fancy the black decals but would probably make a hash of it myself.I had mine done last week along with security film on the glass.

I had mine done at a company that have done all of my cars over the past nineteen years.Hi David, where did you have the work done? Not far from you and fancy the black decals but would probably make a hash of it myself.
Not an easy diy job then. The black decals were a bit of a pain but look pretty good.
Well they used some sort of stuff like very fine fishing line which they stick onto the outside of the car to get a straight line at both the top and bottom of the decal. Then warm and stretch the black decal which hasn’t any shape to it at all. Then they mess and maul about getting the window and the door shut sorted and then pull the ‘fishing line’ off from the bodywork and that in turn cuts the decal into the correct lines. Not an easy diy job then.
Rochdale? Do you think if I nipped over with mine he would put them on?I had mine done at a company that have done all of my cars over the past nineteen years.
Empire Tinting & Signs on Manchester Road in Castleton.

I think if you gave them a call would be the best thing to do. They are all over the place doing work.Rochdale? Do you think if I nipped over with mine he would put them on?
