Are you using the phone or the app to connect.
Some equipment requires the phone’s Bluetooth to be On, but will only connect via the dedicated app and may require a dedicated password or serial number provided with the equipment.

Yes can't get that far at all , just won't pick up anything at all.
Get far as victron connect app on phone , that's it dead end full stop .
Bluetooth connected , restarted phone , re installed app , tried every trick in book.
Just standstill

Looks like it another sarga.
Had thought to disconnect solar panels on roof , then reconnect again .
Not sure if that something do with it ??

Wonder if matters if controller is connected or not , when try to pair ??
Will try it tomorrow

In victron trouble shooting says , try disconnect battery , an solar panels , then re connect again .
What a game

Mystery solved roger had sent me wrong charger by mistake, sent me victron blue solar non blue tooth version which had no bluetooth inbuilt .
Instead of smart solar that would have had inbuilt bluetooth .

But kindly posted out a bluetooth dongle , all working now .

Are there any advantages of having the non dongle version were dongle required ,,or the inbuilt bluetooth version called smart solar , or disadvantages ???

I enclose what is showing on my phone.
Any idea why when nothing on at all , no lights , nothing.
The battery is showing 1 amp being drawn from somewhere?? Should this not be at zero , with nothing on ??.

Also can anyone explain how the above chart works ?
Solar - Output from panel directly.
Battery - Output from Victron to battery , showing Float charge.
Load - power used by Victron Bluetooth unit.

Any idea why battery column shows 1 amp with nothing at all switched on ??
Should this not be zero ?? Until switch something on ?

That's not usage that's the trickle charge from solar to battery.

Ah. The Battery column shows 2 things ?
Power from charger into battery ??
That seems lot the charger uses 1 amp from victron charger to battery , when nothing on ??
Also if switch something on , also shows what's being used e.g the fridge .

Just read in manual that power from victron charger shown as plus sign ??
Power out to appliances shown as minus / negative sign .
Can't see any those on the screen, I will further look through settings

Under the “Load Output” setting check that this is set to “Battery Life” and not “Always on”.

If amp usage cannot be monitored on the victron an is irrelevant.
And the volts are more important , what is best way to calculate volts needed for a 24 hr period ?
How many volts would a fridge need approx??
How many volts for lights per hour ??
How many volts heater per hour ??

If no these figures then can work out how many volts needed a day ?

You may wish to consider adding a Victron SmartShunt to your setup. An example of mine is below. Firstly, I use a LOT of power as I work from my van 5 days a week so my usage is not typical for most with a Cali. But you can easily see the average discharge per day and other metrics with a SmartShunt. I have 200Ah of capacity and draw down about 90-100Ah per day on average.

How do you add a smart shunt ???

Have also read best an only way to test battery true voltage is to switch everything off for at least half hour .
Not when battery being charged or on load as is inaccurate then .
