What a nice topic. Here a collection of our photos and some are from on the bridge and others from further away (or even under the bridge).

Pont Pen-y-benglog and the bridge under the bridge on the A5, western end of Llyn Ogwen, Snowdonia. My favourite bridge, I wonder how many of the thousands of people who drive across it know that there is another one underneath!

The sinking bridge at the southern end of the Corinth canal Greece.
On one occasion here, while waiting for the bridge to rise so that we could cross, there was a group of gypsies hanging round the barrier. All their vehicles were parked up the road, they weren't waiting to cross.
As soon as the bridge rose and was nearly drained of water, most of the group ducked the barrier and ran onto the bridge, whilst being shouted at by the bridge master.
What they were doing soon became clear; they were catching stranded fish and throwing them to their waiting accomplices. Apparently this was not unusual.

Really can't remember where this was , somewhere near the Loire. Must be an aquaduct.
Maybe time for another thread: pictures I can't bring home.

Regards from Amsterdam,
Marc.

Ruined half bridge in Avignon, Provence. Funny that people compulsively walk to the end.
