Hi

does anyone have the foggiest what this button does??.....absolutely nothing, zilch, nada in the instruction manual!...but, obviously, it does point out the danger of driving with the seats rotated to the back.

@leeb Isn't that for "fast" charging the leisure battery when the engine is running. Increases the output of the alternator.

No idea ..nothing in manual...nothing in GC supplement.
I suppose that could be the case...but I thought the crafter has a smart alternator that makes up its own mind regarding output depending on battery demand....

Sorry let me rephrase that, it is to maximise the charging of the leisure batteries whilst the engine is idle (ie not driving along). It increases the revs slightly and should put the maximum output from the alternater into the battery.

Aha..I see...if you want to use the engine (whilst wild camping for example) to top up leisure battery it speeds up process by upping the idle speed....correct?

Well I never ...idle speed without button pressed....800rpm....pressed button produces a swift increase to 1000-1100 rpm idle
Wonder why this explanation is nowhere to be seen in manuals??
