Cadac regulator help

Hi, I got my brand new shiny Cadac carri chef out this weekend. I had bought a Cadac regulator from +amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon here (http://www.+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon+amazon.co.uk/dp/B00481D8JM/?tag=unique09f-21) and a camping gaz 904 cylinder.

However, I just could not get the gas to come through. I had to remove a gold nipple connector off the bottom of the regulator then it would screw in but it had no screw in it. I wonder if this cadac regulator is for their own gas and not camnping gaz.

If anyone could give me some advice that would be great!

According to the description on the link you posted.

Product Description
Allows low pressure Cadac appliances to operate from gas cartridges.


This would appear to be a gas cartridge adapter not a regulator for camping gaz cylinder . Can't you just use the standard Campingaz regulator and a piece of pipe?

Hi, thank you. Clearly this is the problem. I need to buy a normal camping gaz regulator. I thought I had to have the cadac one.
