Cali’s for sale on this forum

Did I read somewhere on this forum that VW are now preventing dealers from ordering stock models because queues are so long? I think I did...
California Chris has mentioned that’s true

People will have the bug when planes start flying and realise what they’ve been missing out on all these years…plane seats will be empty and captain seats full :)

I thought I would check out the vehicles for sale on this forum. DFisappointed so far as the 2/3 I have tried so far have been sold. It would be nice if the sellers wouykld change the description like others. SOLD
I tried we buy any car gave one price then 7 days later offered me £60.2k for a 18 plate 4 motion with 5k miles on the clock.
They don’t about the manufactures extras could not believe there offer.
Sold a 3 year okd executive Caravelle last week to them With 45k on it for £34k they knocked £500 of for stone chips and dents I could not see.

Not a huge jump from our current 2015 SE to a new coast based on current classifieds prices.. Was suggesting to the missus that we flog ours and then just wait it out for a new one.

I'd go and have a look at one before selling yours.

Agreed, trouble is once you’ve seen it you will want it!

You need to do your sums carefully, if you are prepared to wait and do without for a while you should be able to get a half decent discount for next years delivery & I reckon you’ve got until end of July this year to get the overinflated price for yours.

If you can’t do without you and see a preregistered van you like it may be worth paying say the £10k extra to have it now if it means you get £20k more for the old one.

If you’ve got nerves of steel sell yours now & be ready to pounce on a deal when the dealers panic in October about being stuck with unsold stock over winter, whether that’s customers that have cancelled or demo vans.

If next year is like this for buying, end of December early January was best time to get a deal.

We have weighed up the pros and cons and think we are going to stick for now.

We'd need to add quite a few options to get what we have now or what we'd want, which makes it a lot more expensive. We also need a van for Camp Bestival which was the ultimate decider.

I bought mine that way which was why I mentioned it, I took delivery in January after buying their stock order in October. I didn't know VW had stopped dealers buying stock.
