Cali Dogs

I hadn't thought of the 2 front seats ! The dogs aren't allowed on any furniture in our house, but they seem to think it doesn't count as being on the sofa as long a 1 paw is still just about on the floor and they are sitting on top of a teenager , it seems teenagers make quite good sofa cushions ! Bet the dogs will sneak onto the Cali bed given the chance. I bags the upstairs bed !
No , our dogs aren't allowed on furniture at home neither , although they have their own chair they are allowed on. The Cali seats have the Inka covers on , and then we put their bed on the seats, with the arm rests down to keep it all nice and cosy for them. They use the arm rest to rest their chin on !

I'm a real meanie and don't allow my dogs on the seats, taught her to wait and have her feet wiped before getting in so to keep van in a decent state !! she's white but on the walks we do she very quickly turns into having black legs lol towel always at the ready !!!!
Yes, same here, 8 paws wiped first , in a fashion !

Here is Quinn, he is a Samoyed and is 1 year old, he as been camping with us since he was 8 weeks old and he loves it, View media item 489

Scout the bull terrier seems to think the drivers seat is hers.......Bisto the Rottie nine months and all ready fully immersed van dog..Soon as the door opens even if not going anywhere he will be in and on the sofa!

Hi Cali 1

Are they friendly :shocked
Would want to get on the wrong side of them
Bet there big pussy cats really :)

Alan

Funny, both softies,I have had four rotties all the same big cuddly softies..Problem been the youngster thinks he's the size of the bull terrier....He tries to curl up on the front drivers seat.....
We had our first campsite night the other month,we usually wild camp,I lost both of the dogs, one minute tied to a stake, next minute seen at a families BBQ helping them with there food.Ended up been a real fun evening, met some new friends and had a lovely meal to boot!
More campsites to come.

They look like they enjoy it, and .... What a whopper !

Oh yes...We were hoping he was going to be one of the smaller one..53 kg at nine months....going to be big.But really energetic,my last one would run 10km,hike for days with me and run alongside the mountain bike for 30 km,up until he was 10 when it all got too much.Hoping he's going to be the same, have to take it steady thought build up slowly..

Just seen your pic of ruby and honey and did a double take, I had two that look the exact same as yours (just lost gypsy brown one a few weeks ago at the age of 16) my other one a lemon cocker is called honey and is the spit of yours lol

Introducing CaliDog Blaze, who is finally allowed into the Cali now that the seat covers have been fitted. He took no time at all in making himself at home, indeed it is pretty difficult getting him out of the van!

They look very well established in there, very settled in..Why is it they all seem to cram themselves onto the seats...even thought they have huge beds at great expense.Wonder if we put a cali seat in the house it would stop them going not he sofa????

The seat covers are the Inka lifestyle second skin ones, available from the shop on this site,

I do think they look nice and they are very dog proof so far and easy to remove dog hairs from (unlike my QTM carpets!). But fitting them is not for the faint hearted and took me the best part of 2 days (and ultimately I had to rope in a few men to help and even they found it difficult), and there are a few areas where the fit is not good on a 2015 Cali, but I am too exhausted to complain!

Your dog looks great! Bet those ears hear allsorts of things......the fridge door opening, the rustle of a crisp packet, the tap of a spoon on her dish.....

Fit looking dog
Is it a Hungarian Vizla?
It's got the build of a Doberman :thumb
Or Weimaraner. It is difficult to say, the colours on the photos are not clear. Viszlas have red nose and light brown eyes, Weimaraners are more grey.
