Cali-Topper storage

Hi, I’ve read a number of times that the Cali-topper can be stored in with a chair in the tailgate. I spent 30 minutes recently wrestling with our new Cali-topper (in it’s waterproof bag) to try and get it to sit in between the folded chair but just couldn’t get it to slide into tailgate - it seems too big. I’m nervous about pushing too hard because I don’t want to break or tear anything. I’ve tried searching to see if there are any videos on this forum but can’t find anything. I have same issue with the windscreen cover.

Any advice or pointing me towards appropriate thread if already exists would be appreciated.

It does needs a nice folding and it 100% will fit in one of the chairs .
Just try it a few times and don't try to force it in , you might up breaking something.
Take your time it will work out ...
Once it's in the waterproof bag , hold it against your body sqeezing the air out with your arms like you are hugging someone , then it's much tinner...than shove it between the seat base and the back rest of the seat

as above these were designed to fit so should do

Has the size/bulk of the topper changed at any point? My topper is definitely too bulky to fit in with the chairs.

4 mins 35 onward make it look easy but it is tight.

Thanks for replies will give it another try. I must admit I was taking chair out and trying to put Cali-topper in then refitting chair in tailgate. Video suggests it slides in with chair in place. I’ll try and squash a bit flatter and squeeze in.

It slides into the central space of the chair, Not on the top or bottom of the chair .

Think it's gonne go smoother the next time after all these tips ....
Seems you where doing it all wrong with the chair taken out...;)
