I would like to put bike inside the vehicle, but I have to take front wheel off anyway.

I have pushed the rear seat as far forward as I can and then it wont go any further, but there is some rails left in front of the seat? Can the seat go right up to the end of the rail? :?

yes, if you look inside the rail furthest from the door there is a stopper, just unscrew with a flat screwdriver and take it out (there is one in the back also so you can push seat further back)


Worth doing as gives more options with seat position
Thats said I find a bike fits in the cabin fine without moving the seat (I do have seat covers though so not worried about mud from the tires on the back of the passenger seat)

If that is the case, is it possible to slide the seat nearer to the front then slide another bench seat in behind it on the same runners thus making it a six seater??

Dread to think what VW would charge for a bench seat! Probably by a small car for the same money!

May have problems with insurance as it is not available ex-factory in that configuration.
